Nice, it sounds like they are well prepared to take on ps3 development. Hopefully some of sonys internal devs can give a helping hand too, I know that somebody at Naughty Dog and bungie are pals so there is already a relationship there.
And you know what would happen if Media Molecule went multiplat and their next games were on the xbox? Thats right, most of the people that bashed lbp would be watering at the mouth for whatever MM made and Microsoft would have a swift smart ass response. It goes both ways. That wont happen of course with MM being first party now but its just an example.
edit I'm just saying that the global reaction would be the same no matter who went multiplat. I'm glad you enjoyed lbp though, ...
I'm sure its going to be a high quality ip, bungies reputation simply demands it. I for one cant wait for activision to reveal the new bungie game.
Dont lie and say you were not trying to get a reaction. You can still own both systems and be a fanboy of one, and reading through your comment history shows that you are. I own a 360, its broken, so I prefer the ps3. See? I own both, but I prefer one.
Its understandable that you are highly invested in your xbox but why try to incite arguments? It doesnt make sense, its like sony fans ruined your life or something.
Amazing. The first TDU remains one of my favorite games this gen and I expect this one to be even better. Everyone has to try this game when it comes out, especially those of you that didnt get a chance to enjoy the first.
"Activision claims the deal 'significantly broadening its global reach by providing the resources and support to develop, distribute and release games worldwide on multiple platforms and devices'."
Because of this, we're probably going to see Bungies new game sooner than we all think. I say this because theres NO way that activision is going to pay that much for exclusivity and not take advantage of every single year they have it.
I'm looking forward to se...
Why the flamebait? I think they both play games just fine. The ps3 is the better media player though, I'll give you that.
Its understandable as to why it was turned down, they didnt have an easy time releasing manhunt 2 everywhere. Still, I would like to see a current gen manhunt game, as I actually enjoyed the series a bit. Its a grimy game full of atmosphere and tension made by our friends at rockstar north so its almost impossible not to like to me.
I sure wish that I could get paid to make stuff up, its probably pretty nice.
Agreed, dont expect starhawk to be as overlooked though. The userbase is so much bigger now that the community can only grow from what it already is. It has the potential to be an amazing game as well as a popular game.
As long as someone is making it, I'm a happy camper.
For now, anyone who misses battlefront should try Warhawk imo. The gameplay is basically the same but with better air combat and a GI Joe type theme.
Rockband or any rhythm game totally kills my buzz
"You are pathetic and beneath me. Have fun high speed. I am and will remain better than you and the sad fact is you know it. "
"Yes I am a disabled vet and served my country proudly and honorably with INTEGRITY. Something you will obviously never accomplish." -wow nice one
"Huey Newton" is obviously not in the same age demographic as you, and if you would argue with a 13 year old like that in person then you really have some issues. Lay ...
I'm pretty sure thats his hand on the goldeneye case. The mario bushes and n64 koala are new to me however, I feel like I've learned something today on n4g.
It will be a loud day on n4g once he finally reveals what this game is. I really hope its something epic enough to live up to the hype, because if not its gonna be torn apart by a lot of hungry fanboys.
I like how naughty dogs clan tag is GOTY
How exciting, the first was one of my favorite games for a little while. Its been a long time coming but finally the sequel is almost here.
Hopefully it comes when there is a drought of games so they can maximize its sales. GR's prediction about august seems pretty good.
I wish they knew that they could make the game in the original 2d style with loads of characters and features and people would still love it.
Unfortunately that's not the case and the game will most likely get a 3d revamp with the sf4 engine so we'll probably be stuck with the 16 most generic characters. Hopefully I'm wrong, but I honestly can't see MvC2 being topped in sheer content and options.
No ms still has the halo ip, but whatever new franchise bungie has is going to be published by activision and appear on multiple platforms. Its good news either way, now they have the chance to expand their fanbase.
